We hated to see the Gamecocks get ranked this week, it seems as soon as they get some national love they choke. The Gamecocks will be taking on Vandy tonight in what should be an easy win for USC. Vandy embarrassed the cocks last year and the team never recovered from the loss and loss the rest of their games to finish 6-6 on the season.
Thankfully Chris Smelley will be starting at quarterback tonight over Tommy Beecher who threw 4 interceptions last week against NC State. The Gamecocks should have a fairly easy time with Vandy this year, or it will be a really long and depressing season.
For the love of God its Vandy, if we don’t win this game we should get back in the ACC and have winning seasons like Cow College does.
