Tropical Storm Hanna is looming off of the Puerto Rican cost and may prove to be a little problem for South Carolina. Granted the hurricane is going to be nothing like Hugo or Katrina for that matter, but a hurricane is a hurricane.
The most recent projected path has the storm possible going right through the center of the Palmetto State. A lot can change over the next couple of days, but it looks like we could be in for a long wet weekend either way.
Our advice for now is not to panic, but listen to government warnings and if you are evacuated, go! Like we said earlier it should not be that big of a deal, but it could pick up steam and turn into a Cat 2 and cause problems along our coast.
We will be watching with interest and are going to stock up with beer and scotch just in case.
