Guns are finally allowed back in our nations capital. Now criminals will not be the only ones armed in the District of Columbia. The US Supreme Court overturned the 32 year old ban on handguns, ruling that the ban violated the second admendment.
There is an arguement that guns should not be in crime ridden neighborhoods such as DC. We feel that all homeowners have the right to protect their property and themselves. The constution does give us the right to keep and bear arms and the Supreme Court for the first time ever protected that right.

It’s amazing that it took over 30 years for the law to be inforced.

The law was upheld, plain and simple. Why did it take so long for this injustice to get overturned?

just what crime ridden dc needs, more people with guns. i wished that the rest of the country would have followed dc’s anti gun law.
