Not to bring up any Joe the plumber stories, but this is kind of serious. Obama made it clear a couple of weeks ago that anyone making under 250k would receive a tax break, while those making over 250k would receive a tax increase. 

Joe “the gaffe king” Biden has already changed that number. The new magic number is 150k. Anyone who makes over 150k will have their taxes increased. The 150k mark will affect a lot more people, but more concerning is how much lower will the number go before all is said and done.

America has always supported and encouraged free enterprise and for our citizens to achieve the American dream by working hard and achieving financial success. Obama wants to change that by taking excess money earned and giving it way to those who have not earned as much or who have chosen not to work at all. Obama wants to create a socialist paradise where everyone is equal and the government controls all. If this does not scare you then you are probably the one who does not want to work and wants a government check.

Obama wants to punish those that have worked and are able to earn six figure salaries. Why should we punish those who have achieved success, we should look at those people and use there success stories to drive us to achieve our own success.

This is America, the land of the free and Obama wants to take that freedom away and control our lives. If everyone would be equal under Obama, where is the drive to work hard and make more money to better our lives and the lives of those around us? We can already see the bread lines forming.

We cannot afford to let the United States of America become the next Sweden, or communist 1980’s Soviet Union. It is time to stand up and take our country back. An Obama administration would set us back decades.

If you want to be taxed heavily for your success and want freedom of the press blocked then you should vote for Obama. After all the government knows what is best for you and your family.

Will an Obama presidency restrict press questions? The reporter asked a fair question and now the Obama-Biden campaign is banning the TV station. We think Obama is a socialist, so if he is not he may want to try not banning the media from asking questions about being a socialist.

The RNC has shelled out about $150,000 on Sarah Palins campaign wardrobe. We guess a girl has to look good, but 150k good in sixty days seems a little much. The shopping spree includes about 75k at Neiman Marcus and about 50k at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

We think Palin would look good in a potato sack, but we have to ask the obvious question, with a struggling McCain campaign would spending a large chunk of money on clothes be a worth while expenditure. As we all know 150k can buy a lot of much needed media time.

We think the RNC was wrong on this one. We understand the need to look professional, but a new outfit everyday seems a little much. We would hope the governor of a state would have a professional wardrobe to last a couple of months.

Can you say bitter? If you cannot say it, then say Colin Powell. Retired General and former Secretary of State Colin Powell has endorsed Barack Obama for president. Powell has finally worn out his welcome in the GOP. He appears to still hold a grudge against republicans after his term as secretary of state was not renewed.

Powell has turned his back on his party, his supporters, and the only man in the race with any military experience. Maybe Powell is lobbying for another cabinet position. We cannot think of any other good reason for the endorsement other than being a bitter has been.

Powell’s endorsement of Obama is good news for Obama, it ad’s the credibility on military affairs that Obama has been needing to help end one of his many inexperience’s.

If McCain wants to be president, he had better come up with something quickly or he will be watching from the sidelines in January. On top of the endorsement of Powell, Obama has also reported a 150 million dollar month in fundraising for September.

Things are shaping up to be very different in January.

Henry Brown is facing his first “serious” challenge from the far far left and is well ahead in the polls, but is behind in fundraising. Linda Ketner has raised a little over $850, 000 on top of the $700,000 she has loaned/given to her campaign. Brown has raised around $760,000 for his reelection effort.

No worries for Brown, he has over 1.2 million in the bank right now compared to the $200,000 for Ketner. Money going into the final two weeks is the most important money of all and Brown is in great shape.

Lindsey Graham is also in great shape with around 3.8 million in the bank compared to the amount of change found in Conley’s car and couch which he has not yet reported.

Once again last night we faced the choice of watching the debate or watching paint dry. We should have watched paint dry. It’s no secret for those of you who have watched the debates that Obama is great debater and McCain is well, not so good.

For those of us who have been waiting for McCain to step up and show a little life, we were left very disappointed.  There is so much fodder out there on Obama, we would be licking our chops and chomping at the bit to use it against him. McCain brought up topics like Bill Ayers and allowed Obama to simply dismiss them and move on.

If McCain does not step up and go after Obama it will be over well before November 4^th. Obama has it in the bag as of right now and will continue to be well in the lead unless McCain steps it up.

We have to wonder if McCain really wants to win this election, because he is not fighting very hard for it.

Over the weekend, vandals attacked the York county GOP headquarters. The people (nut jobs) spray painted the term “Republicans mean slavery”.  Apparently there are some misinformed people out there who are drinking the far radical left kool aid, the same kool aid that Bill Ayers drank in the 70’s.

Let’s look at the facts; the chairman of the York GOP is Glenn McCall. For those of you who don’t know, McCall is black. McCall is also the newest member of the RNC national committee. Second, the GOP is the party that abolished slavery.

The democrats are scared in SC and are willing to do anything to get some much needed attention. It is safe to say the GOP has started to get under the skin of SC dem’s.

Let’s take a look at our tanking US economy for a moment and get to the bottom of the situation. We do not care that our problems are causing problems around the world, we really don’t care what outsiders such as Putin say about our situation. What we care about is who caused the problem.

Most blame President Bush and the GOP for our financial woes, but are they the ones who deserve the blame? When the GOP controlled the White House and Congress, things were not great, but they were good. The economy was strong, we broke 11,000 for the first time, people were able to get loans for houses and cars, houses were not being for closed on, unemployment was much lower, the dollar was strong, and oil was well below 100 a barrel.

So what happened you ask? Pelosi and Reid happened. When the democrats took control of congress our country went to s*#&. The mess we are in is not a Bush or McCain problem it is a Pelosi and Reid problem. The democrats have successfully run our country into the ground and the main stream media refuses to look at the facts and blames the GOP.

We are not the smartest people in the world, but we are able to look at who was in charge when things started going down hill. Wake up America, turn off NBSC and CNN and look at the real facts. If Obama wins, things are only going to get worse for us as a nation. We have faith in America and are trying to push you in the right direction. If we have to spell it out for you we will.

We would like to blame Obama as well, but he has spent so little time in the Senate, he was never really a factor. The guy came to the senate and started running for president on day 1.
