Another SC town has decided to ban smoking in all private and public buildings, once again stepping on the small business owners. We have ranted before about the smoking ban.
We feel that the bans are nothing more than fads and will all eventually be overturned. Granted it will be nice to have a meal without someone blowing smoke in our face, but it is not our right to go to a private business and expect there to be no smoking. The decision should be that over the business owners.
This is worse for Camden then it is Columbia. Both Columbia and Richland County are going to be smoke free where Kershaw County has no plans to take up the issue. Patrons who want to smoke can leave Camden and go to other parts of the county and still be close to home.
Lexington is set to take up a smoking ban bill next.

The problem is socialist city governments. A statewide ban would never pass.

Do we not have bigger things to worry about, then if you can or can’t smoke in a bar? Get over it dude.
